Stage Identities, a collaboration between TARTproduktion Stuttgart and the German State Theatre Timișoara, will premiere this Wednesday, 20 April 2022, in the capital of Baden-Württemberg. The young actress Aida Olaru is participating in this project on behalf of the German State Theatre .
The performance for two actresses and an actor is about the struggle for individuality, about the permanent spectacle of self-discovery and self-optimization in our information societies, say the organizers.

"In a mediatized society, full of hypes, storms and other catastrophes, nothing seems to be more important than the performance of SELF; perhaps to feel one's own existence - or to let others feel it. Because, obviously, nothing is more devastating than not being noticed and forgotten. Presence is everything. He who is not present is dead."

German director Bernhard Eusterschulte, who first collaborated with the German State Theatre Timișoara in 2017, signs for this production. The author of the text is Laura Oppenhäuser, and Sara Adina Scheer and Folkert Dücker appear on stage with Aida Olaru. The next two performances at the FITZ! Centre for Artistic Theatre in Stuttgart are scheduled for 21 and 22 April. A performance in Timisoara is also planned, but the date has not yet been set.
